About Diane Quinn

Quinn Coaching International was founded by Diane Quinn, Ed.D. For 30 years, Dr. Quinn has provided counseling, education assessment, and support services to a range of individuals with disabilities and their families. Her specialties include guidance for adolescents and adults with Learning Disabilities and ADHD, transition planning for students and their families, higher education support services and employment coaching for both individuals and their employers. Her training includes a blend of Clinical Social Work and Special Education, allowing her a unique perspective on identifying and supporting the needs of individuals who learn differently.

Dr. Quinn is the founder of the Marist College support program for individuals with Learning Disabilities.  After directing Marist College’s Office of Special Services for 15 years, she moved to Tucson, Arizona to become the Director of the University of Arizona SALT Center.  While with the SALT Center, she expanded its services, introduced opportunities for international consultation and collaboration and served as the principle fundraiser for a $4 million dollar capital campaign.  Dr. Quinn retired from the University in January 2008 to pursue her coaching and consulting practice.

Dr. Quinn is a Senior Certified AD/HD Coach (SCAC), having received her certification from the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching in 2008.

“Your contribution was a major reason for the ‘rave reviews’ and as the organizers of the workshop we are especially appreciative of your degree of knowledge, sharing of information and fulfilling our guarantee to participants that the information they receive will be timely, current, and “worth it”.” – MK

Dr. Quinn received her Bachelor Degree from Cornell University, her Master of Social Work degree from St. Louis University, and her Doctorate of Education from Teachers College at Columbia University. She has made hundreds of presentations to educators, employers, parents, and students regarding a variety of topics pertaining to Learning Disabilities, ADHD, ADD and academic and employment success, disability accommodation and program evaluation and review. She has consulted with a number of education institutions and organizations as well as schools and universities in Europe and Asia.

Dr. Quinn is a former President of the Association on Higher Education and Disability and founding President of the Arizona Postsecondary Access Coalition.
